It's been a while
Is it really March already? My head has been spinning and whirling a bit lately. January was so incredibly busy at work and I ended up working overtime almost every day. Just when I thought I was going to have some time to get caught up at the beginning of February, my sister died suddenly. That sent my family into another mind-numbing spin. Things seem to be settling down a bit now.
When I glance over my shoulder and see two months of the new year have already gone by it is a bit shocking.
It seems as if I've been spending time just treading water and trying to stay afloat rather than actually living in the present moment. I need to work on that.
