I love that song "I Can Only Imagine," too! I just realized I never answered your question about why I started Merri's Place. It was mostly because of Women's Literary Guild. I liked the format and thought this might be a fun way to keep in touch with friends without having to feel like I "had" to leave comments or whatever. I could just come and hang out whenever I wanted and just be me, without other people leaving me "you should" messages. It was also easy to post videos and photos without it taking forever or needing to use Photobucket.
